Directions for Use
Before use, read MSDS.
- All contact areas should be clean and free from grease and dirt. If necessary, clean all surfaces with a suitable solvent and allow to dry.
Skin contact should be avoided. It is recommended to use nitrile gloves (avoid latex), which may accelerate glue curing. - To improve bonding on low-energy plastic surfaces, a primer may be applied to the bond area.
Avoid applying excess primer and allow it to dry. - An activator may be used if necessary. Apply it to one of the contact surfaces
(do not apply activator to the primed surface where primer is also used). - Apply adhesive to one of the bond surfaces only (do not apply adhesive to the activated surface).
Do not use tissues or brushes to spread the adhesive. Apply drops directly from the container.
Join parts within a few seconds and position accurately, as the short fixture time allows very little adjustment. - Bonds should be held fixed or clamped until adhesive has bonded.
Approximately 60 seconds is usually sufficient. - Allow the product to develop full strength before subjecting to service loads
(typically 24–72 hours, depending on bond gap, materials, and ambient conditions). - When complete, affix the lid back onto the container and store in a cool, dry place.
Storage
Store product in the unopened container in a cool, dry location.
Optimal storage temperature: 10°C to 30°C.
Storage below 10°C or above 30°C may adversely affect product properties.
Material removed from containers may become contaminated during use and should not be returned to the original container.
Never use for repairing or bonding vessels that hold hot liquids.
Product life: 18 months from date of manufacture.
