TruTite™ 616 Thread Sealant

Product Description

TruTite™ 616 Thread Sealant is designed for the instant assembly of threaded fasteners which,
if required, can be disassembled with standard hand tools for maintenance or replacement purposes.
It is a high viscosity, medium strength anaerobic thread sealant.

The product cures anaerobically when oxygen is no longer present. This occurs when air between
two metal fittings is displaced, allowing the yellow liquid to cure within minutes (see curing times).
Once cured, it forms a strong seal that prevents loosening and leakage caused by vibration.

TruTite™ 616 Thread Sealant is most commonly used on brass and steel and is also effective on
stainless steel, aluminium and BZP steel. It fills large distance gaps and delivers excellent results
on wide-diameter threaded applications up to 0.5 mm.
